CHEF’s MESSAGE

My aim is to introduce to you the greek hospitality and all the colours the Greek cuisine has to offer. I cook with passion and honesty. Greek cuisine has a long history and I love to share it with everybody. My cooking is linked to childhood memories, every smell and taste travels me back down memory lane. My hope and goal is to create delicious memories for you too.

New Opening Hours

Dear All,

After many requests we decided from January 2023, that we will be open everyday (besides Monday) till 22:00 so you can enjoy longer your stay at our little taverna. In respect to our personnel the kitchen will be closing at 21:00.

We wish you all a pleasant stay!

From Saturday 24 December 18:00 we will be closed to celebrate the Year’s End and New Beginning.

Tuesday 28 December we open at 12:00

New Year

31 December open till 18:00

1 – 2 – 3 – 4 -January closed

Wednesday 5 January we open at 12:00

Closed for holidays

we are going “shopping” in Greece 😜 .

From the 15th of September we will open again at 12:00
to serve you delicious Greek food.

Our taverna has an open entrance space where we allow maximum 3 customers inside and you can order food from our vitrine for take-away. If you already know what you want, you can always call us and prepare your take-away upfront.

covid-19 update – April 2020

Corona shocked us all. At the beginning of the lockdown, we were closed for two weeks to see how the situation would develop and to think about how Romios could reopen safely and thus also provide a little stability for our customers and ourselves. Like other shops, we adapted the interior and put a limit on the number of visitors in the store itself. And that worked well. We received positive reactions from customers and even appeared on the Facebook page of Residents of the Pijp, on the list of places where cooking for customers is continued.
And we do this with pleasure!

On sunny days and during the summer we also have tables outside.
